How It All Started

Blossom Nanny Agency was started in 2020 by Founder and Director Maddy Bowden.

Maddy is a Registered Nurse with extensive medical experience and 13 years of childcare experience. She started babysitting at 13 years old and has always had a natural affinity for children. Since then she has worked as a full time nanny, a nurse in a wide range of environments and an after school care coordinator. During the peak of COVID-19, Maddy worked under intense physical and mental pressure in the COVID wards at Box Hill Hospital. Maddy was able to ensure her patients were comfortable and reassured while also delivering outstanding medical care at a very uncertain time.

After working as a Nurse, Maddy decided that working with children was her biggest motivator and brought joy to her life.

After speaking to many parents who have had undesirable experiences with their previous nannies, Maddy started Blossom Nanny Agency to bring high quality, experienced and passionate nannies to the working families of Melbourne.
